The Automated Data Transmission Unit (DTU) is required with the PT6 monitoring systems: ADAS+, SmartCycle+ or IntelliStart+.
The destination for the data is the Pratt & Whitney Engine Services TurbineTracker Server accessible through the Internet.
The Automated Data Transmission Unit is designed to:
- Transmit data after every flight
- No operator intervention is required.
- No more laptops, files or forms to manage.
How it works:
- On landing, the Automated Data Transmission Unit automatically collects data from monitoring system.
- The Unit makes a cellular connection (utilizing GSM/GPRS) service.
- All trend, event and exceedance data is transmitted to the data management service TurbineTracker for review.
- Data is automatically processed and an email report is sent to the user within minutes.
